Desmata Inc. is looking for a Software Developer to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role you will design, build, and maintain scalable microservices and cloud-native solutions, working closely with our team to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java and Spring Boot microservices to support business-critical enterprise applications
• Build and enhance secure, reliable, and high-performance RESTful APIs to support backend system integrations and services
• Develop, deploy, and support cloud-native services on AWS including S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and CloudWatch
• Implement fast and efficient search and indexing capabilities using Elasticsearch to improve data retrieval performance
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments using Kubernetes to ensure consistent and reliable releases
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using AWS CloudFormation following Infrastructure-as-Code best practices
• Optimize database interactions across relational and NoSQL systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and DynamoDB to improve scalability and response times
• Perform performance tuning, debugging, and comprehensive testing using tools such as JUnit and Mockito to ensure system stability and high availability
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth, JWT, and role-based access control while following secure coding standards
• Design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures to improve application performance and processing efficiency
• Support continuous integration and delivery using Jenkins and CI/CD practices to enable smooth deployments and production readiness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, code reviews, and timely delivery of production features

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation, such as Software Developer
