Desmata Inc. is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will analyze business operations and workflows, gather and document business and system requirements, and work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to support process improvements, system development, and successful implementation of enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze organizational workflows and business operations to identify opportunities for automation, system improvements, and process optimization.
• Gather and document detailed business and system requirements through meetings, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and system documentation to guide software development and system implementation.
• Develop business process models, workflow diagrams, and data flow documentation to support system design and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure that system solutions align with documented business requirements and project objectives.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using analytical tools and database queries to support business insights and operational decision-making.
• Assist in defining system interfaces, data mappings, and integration requirements across multiple enterprise applications.
• Support system testing activities, including preparation of test cases, coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validation of system functionality against requirements.
• Monitor project progress, track requirement changes, and support issue resolution during the development of lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, and user guides to support system implementation and training.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding of requirements and successful project delivery.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum sessions such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to support timely and effective project execution. 

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related field.
• Experience: 12 months of experience as a Quality Analyst or in a related occupation.
