Desmata Inc. is looking for a Software Quality Analyst Engineer to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will support research and development and quality control activities by testing and validating web-based and mobile applications, developing and executing test plans and test cases, performing automated and manual testing, and working closely with our team to ensure software applications meet business requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and development unit along with the responsibility of quality control.
• Expertise in conducting and participating in different types of testing - Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Strong in analyzing and understanding business specifications, testing requirements and developing test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrix.
• Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Good experience in working on projects in an agile environment.
• Expertise on performing front end (end to end testing, system integration testing) applications.
• Good expertise in automating front-end testing using Selenium Web drivers, CORE JAVA, and TestNG Framework.
• Expertise in working with Selenium IDE and Selenium WebDriver using TestNG.
• Experience in developing a framework using hybrid models.
• Experience in writing CSS Selectors, path Expressions to identify Web Elements.
• Experience working with TestNG for automation reports.
• Extensive experience in GUI, Functional, System, and Regression testing of web-based applications.
• Good knowledge of mobile App testing on android environment.
• Expertise in SQL database testing involving SQL Queries, joins to pull data from database.
• Good experience with Quality Center / HP ALM to develop Test cases, executing test cases in Test lab, and creating and tracking defects in Defects module and generating reports in Quality center 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related field
• 6 months of experience in Software Analyst or in a related occupation
