Desmata Inc. is looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role you will design, build, and maintain web-based software applications, and work closely with our team to deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based software applications using PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Develop and maintain backend application logic, APIs, and database interactions to support business requirements
• Collaborate with team members to analyze user requirements and translate them into functional software solutions
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and bug fixing to ensure application stability and performance
• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following established development standards
• Integrate frontend components using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js with backend services
• Assist in deploying software updates, patches, and enhancements in development and production environments
• Maintain and update existing systems to improve functionality, usability, and performance
• Use version control systems such as Git to manage source code and track changes
• Prepare technical documentation related to software features, system updates, and user guides as needed
• Work closely with senior developers and project stakeholders to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
• Follow company policies, security standards, and best practices during software development activities Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation, such as Software Engineer
