Desmata Inc. is looking for a Software Developer to join our team in Plano, Texas. In this role you will design, build, and enhance enterprise-grade backend services and cloud-native solutions, working closely with our team to support secure, scalable, and reliable processing across our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade backend services supporting workflow automation and decision-based processing systems
• Build scalable service-oriented components and APIs to support real-time processing and high-volume transaction flows
• Develop business logic modules to evaluate eligibility rules, validation outcomes, and risk-based decisions
• Implement secure data exchange patterns, error handling, and retry mechanisms to ensure reliable processing across distributed systems
• Integrate third-party vendor APIs and services for identity verification, data validation, fraud prevention, and external data enrichment
• Develop vendor orchestration workflows to ensure consistent data intake, validation, and response mapping across integrated services
• Maintain and optimize vendor connectivity, including API authentication, payload transformations, performance tuning, and incident resolution
• Develop and deploy cloud-native services using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions, and S3 to support serverless architecture patterns
• Implement real-time monitoring and observability integrations using Datadog for service health tracking, performance metrics, and production alerting
• Build event-driven and workflow-driven services to ensure secure, resilient, and auditable processing across enterprise applications
• Create and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation and Terraform for consistent provisioning of AWS resources across environments
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub pipelines while enforcing code quality through automated testing, version control, documentation, release governance, and production support

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation, such as Software Developer
